We’ll meet via Zoom on Wednesday,
September 13 at 1:30 pm. Our reading is Albert Camus’s novel
The Fall. Published in 1956, it was the last of the three novels published during his lifetime.
The Fall is a confession of a former Paris lawyer who, as Camus says, “has a modern heart, . . , he cannot bear being judged, and therefore he hastens to prosecute himself, but only in order to better judge other people.”
