The megahit Broadway musical Les Miz, based on Victor Hugo’s novel, premiered on October 8, 1985, so it has now been with us 36 years. What we have here is the 25th anniversary concert presented at the gigantic 02 arena in London, featuring superstars like Lea Salonga as Fantine and Nick Jonas as Marius. The rousing encore, which lasts 20 minutes, brings back onstage the original 1985 cast, including Colm Wilkinson as Jean Valjean, to reprise three of the show’s most memorable hits.
