Two Weeks in September” (Drama. Romance) 1967 1hr 36min

This movie is about a young, beautiful French woman, Cecile, who is married to a  much older Englishman. She loves her husband and seems content with her life until she meets a younger man and feels forgotten passions stirring within her.    With September as a backdrop, the film explores themes of infidelity, passion, and the ephemeral nature of relationships, making it a prime example of how the word September contributes to a compelling narrative.  September serves as a reminder that life is constantly changing and personal growth is necessary even when it comes with pain.  Directed and written by Serge Bourguignon and adapted for screen by four others, this film was rated all over the spectrum from bad to good with an average of only mediocre.
