We will discuss Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream on the third and fifth Tuesdays of July at one-thirty. With wedding preparations, a triangle of lovers, parental opposition, an elopement, a fickle lover, feuding fairies, an amateur acting troupe, and further confusion provided by darkness, fairy trickery, and a man with the head of an ass, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s busiest and most enduringly popular comedies. Please note that we will not meet on the first Tuesday.
