Every year on the first Monday in November since 2017, Endacott ReMembers its members who are no longer with us by reading their names out loud, lighting candles and breaking bread together, then watching a special film. This year it’s Hirokazu Kore-Eda’s evocative After Life, about a group of recently departed who are allowed to select one happy memory to take with them to eternity.  Also, for the second time because of coronavirus, the gathering will take place via Zoom.  Challah bread and votive candles will be distributed free from Paul Stephen Lim’s open garage at 1132 Randall Road on Sunday October 31st from 1-5 PM, in anticipation of the celebration on Monday November 1st at 1:30 PM.  Email plim@ku.edu for the link and additional information.
