Paul’s Pick: District 9
In this futuristic film, a massive starship bearing a bedraggled alien population which appeared years ago and was welcomed at that time in Johannesburg, South Africa, is now no longer welcome. The ostracized aliens, who look like gigantic prawns, are now forced to live in a refugee camp which has deteriorated into a militarized ghetto called District 9, where they are confined and exploited in squalor.
