Zora Neale Hurston
Born on 7 January 1891 in Notasulga, Alabama, Zora was a writer, photographer, director as well as an anthropologist.  She is known for She’s Gotta Have It (1986), Hands Upon the Heart (1991) and Barracoon.  She was previously married to James Howell Pitts, Albert Price III and Herbert Sheen.  She died on 28 January 1960 in Sant Lucie County, Florida.
